Updatable Objects

Updatable Objects are predefined destination objects that Check Point maintains and updates automatically. They represent services or groups of destinations whose IP addresses, domains, or endpoints change frequently.

Use Updatable Objects to apply security and routing policies without manually maintaining destination details.

How Updatable Objects Work

Each Updatable Object represents a specific service or category of destinations. Check Point automatically updates the object to reflect changes published by the service provider.

When a policy references an Updatable Object, the policy applies to the current list of destinations included in that object.

Note - Updatable Objects can also represent geographic locations, such as a continent or a country.
