    Custom URLs

      Article Summary

      Introduction

Address objects in Harmony SASE facilitate the management of IP addresses, subnets, and lists of multiple IP addresses.
These objects are essential for creating specific network configurations and policies.

      Steps

Custom URLs allows you to specify a URL's specific path, and can be used in places like Web Filter Rules.

For example: www.facebook.com/messages - can be allowed specifically, while www.facebook.com is blocked, by setting an Allow rule for the custom URL above the Deny rule.

To create a new Custom URLs Object:

      1. Navigate to Objects -> Custom URLs
      2. Click on (+) Add URL
      3. Provide an indicative Name and Description
      4. Type in the URL, or upload a *.csv file containing multiple URLs
      5. Click on Add URL

Note: If you wish to delete a custom URL, you'll first need to make sure you are not using it, or else you will not see the option to edit or delete it
