Perimeter 81 Windows app deployment via ManageEngine Desktop Central or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Follow
ManageEngine

You can deploy Perimeter 81 Windows app via ManageEngine Desktop Central.

In order to do so you will need to install / uninstall it silently. This is achieved by passing command line arguments to the installer / uninstaller.

To install: Perimeter81-installer.exe /S
To uninstall: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Perimeter 81\Uninstall.exe /S

Remarks:
/S stands for Silent. The parameter is case sensitive - /s won't work
After uninstall you may want to reboot the PC. This is because one of the app components (network filtering driver) can only be deleted on reboot. The only issue you may run into if you don't reboot is - if you install the app again, it will not work correctly in certain cases.
You do not need to uninstall or reboot in order to install newer version - it can be installed over the existing version.

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

In order to deploy through System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) you can deploy Perimeter 81 utilising Script Installer (Native)" as a deployment type and Perimeter81.exe /S as the command to run. It will install and deploy the agents silently.

On the 'Create Application Wizard' you will need to choose 'Manually Specify...' then continue to the 'Deployment Types' screen to add a DT.
(The script type is not in the first drop down because the detection method cannot be imported automatically  from an .EXE file)
Add a 'Script installer(Native)' DT to the application and specify the .EXE file as your installation program.
You will be required also specifying the application's detection method manually, we suggest the file %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Perimeter 81\Perimeter 81.exe .
